Four-angle star-like BiVO<sub>4</sub> loaded with highly dispersed CoAl-MMO nanoparticles demonstrated highly efficient photocatalytic oxidation of thiophene under visible light irradiation. It's due to a narrower band gap, and more negative flat band potential of the composite.
