Abstract

This study demonstrates that tanshinol exerts antifibrotic effects through targeting multiple mechanisms correlated with PI3K/AKT/mTOR/p70S6K1 signaling pathways, and has the prospect of becoming a new treatment strategy for hepatic fibrosis.
