Early Diagnostic Markers for Detection of Acute Kidney Injury in Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Recipients

Abstract

Serum cystatin C levels might be a useful marker for early detection of acute kidney injury in adult allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients. Close monitoring of kidney function by sensitive biomarkers might provide early recognition and timely management of acute kidney injury in high-risk patient populations.
