Abstract

ABSTRACT. In this paper we establish some sufficient conditions for oscillation of second order delay dynamic equations on time scales. Our results not only unify the oscillation of second order delay differential and difference equations but also are new for q-difference equations and can be applied on any time scale. We illustrate our results with many examples. 1 Introduction The theory of time scales, which has recently received a lot of attention, was introduced by Stefan Hilger in his PhD thesis [19] in order to unify continuous and discrete analysis. Not only can this theory of so-called dynamic equations unify the theories of differential equations and difference equations, but also it is able to extend
