In this paper, a surface plasmon (SP) waveguide switch using graphene strip at 30 THz frequency, has been designed and simulated. The waveguide comprise of two graphene strips and the switching is controlled by varying chemical potential of middle strip while outer strips have fix chemical potential. Graphene is doped via back-gate and top-gate voltages. The electrostatic gating is modeled in an electronic solver, while the switching is performed in an electromagnetic solver. The propagation losses of the designed waveguide was shifted to higher frequencies, by doping graphene strips.
