Our novel radiotracer <sup>68</sup>Ga-NODAGA-PCA showed specific binding to the melanin producing experimental melanoma tumors. Therefore, <sup>68</sup>Ga-NODAGA-PCA is a suitable diagnostic radiotracer for the detection of melanoma tumors and metastases <i>in vivo</i>.
