Further Studies on the Radiation Dosimetry Characteristics of Thermoluminescent Li2B4O7:Cu Phosphor

This paper describes investigations on the following radiation dosimetric characteristics of Li2B4O7:Cu TLD phosphor: (i) batch to batch variation in TL sensitivity, (ii) spurious luminescence effects, (iii) effects of storage at ambient temperature and humidity, and of pre-irradiation annealing temperature on the TL sensitivity, (iv) dependence of TL sensitivity on the irradiation temperature, (v) reusability aspects, (vi) exposure vs TL response and exposure rate dependence to 253.7 nm UV radiation and (vii) fading of radiation induced TL on exposure to sunlight.
