Thermodynamic models are a perfect tool to describe heat engines. But such thermodynamic model must be extended to reflect reality as accurately as possible. Micro turbo compressor engines are a specific type of heat engines that are derived from normal turbo compressor engines. To compute their thermodynamic parameters we need to know their dimensions and choose many coefficients, which describe them. With this model we can get the needed state variables, which describe the engine's operational mode, load, and degradation. In order to use the thermodynamic model as a diagnostic tool it has to be transformed into some kind of mathematic tool, like Matlab/Simulink to get comparative data at real time. In this paper will be introduced the JETCAT P80 micro turbo compressor engine and application of the analytical model on it. There will be presented also applicability of that model.
