Antibiotic prophylaxis does not reduce the infection rate following percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy in infants and children

Abstract

Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy was a safe procedure and antibiotic prophylaxis did not seem to decrease infectious complications.
