The CDs (carbon dots)/MoS<sub>2</sub> nanosheets coated hydrogenated TiO<sub>2</sub> nanobelt heterostructures—referred to as CDs/MoS<sub>2</sub>@H-TiO<sub>2</sub>—with a three-dimensional hierarchical configuration were prepared <italic>via</italic> hydrothermal reaction.
