Association between thyroid autoimmunity and Helicobacter pylori infection

Abstract

In our study, prevalence of TPO-Ab positivity is more frequent in subjects with <i>H. pylori</i> infection. Our findings suggest <i>H. pylori</i> infection may play a role in the development of autoimmune thyroiditis.
