Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) can provide near-earth space with all-weather, high precision of position and time information. However, GNSS is very difficult to penetrate walls and other shelter because the power on the ground is only about -130dbm. Thus, there is no doubt that GNSS can't work indoors. POI(Point of Interest) has been increasingly abundant. There is an intense trend of positioning and navigation in parking lot, shopping mall and airport. At present, using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology became the most popular way of indoor positioning field. Nevertheless, the disadvantage of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is a number of beacon stations, poor stability and low precision. The paper comes up with a positioning system of BeiDou compatible system and analyzes the extendible pseudolite layout. This indoor positioning system architecture can reduce the change of intelligent mobile terminal, realize indoor-outdoor positioning compatibility and seamless connection. And the pseudolite layout method can guide the large-scale indoor pseudolite layout in the actual engineering.
