Presenting Features and Prognosis of Ischemic and Nonischemic Neonatal Liver Failure

Abstract

Neonatal liver failure should perhaps be considered in the differential diagnoses of any coagulopathy. ALT and international normalized ratio levels at diagnosis could predict prognosis in the short term. Ischemic liver failure appears to have a better prognosis.
