Abstract

Due to the serious problems of energy shortage and environmental pollution, the microgrid and electric vehicles(EV) are getting more and more attention. The energy supply mode of EVs can be divided into two types, which are plug-in charging mode and battery swapping mode. The plug-in charging mode is divided into two types in terms of coordination. In this paper the dispatching models of microgrid with EVs in different energy supply modes are established. Each mode is analyzed and evaluated in this paper, and the advantages and disadvantages of the two modes are compared. A grid-connected microgrid consisting of a wind turbine (WT), photovoltaic cells (PV), a battery energy storage system (BESS), a micro turbine (MT), a diesel engine (DE), a fuel cell (FC) and several EVs is studied as an example. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the dispatching model. Compared with the EV plug-in charging mode, the simulation results indicate that the microgrid with EVs in battery swapping mode is more economic.
