Abstract

This latest book in the 'Frontiers in Physics' series provides a useful condensed and up to date account of the theory and use of dynamic correlation functions in the physics of solids and liquids. The main methods discussed are Langevin equations, the use of the renormalisation group, causal Green's functions and linear response theory, while the main applications are to magnetic problems and classical liquids.
