Monogenetic trematodes of some Gulf of Mexico fishes.

Abstract

This paper is the second of a series on monogenetic trematodes of Gulf of Mexico fishes. It treats several species belonging to the subfamily TETRAONCHINAE Monticelli, 1903 and is a continuation of the data concerning members of the superfamily GYRODACTYLOIDEA Johnston and Tiegs, 1922 obtained during a recently concluded study of these ectoparasites. The scope, organization and purpose are the same as for the first installment.
