Central Electricity Research Laboratories

Abstract

A previous article published ten years ago described the Leatherhead research laboratories of the electricity supply industry as they were at that time. The British Electricity Research Laboratories as they were then called took the form of a building of 30000 sq ft, with a total staff of 80 physicists, chemists and engineers. It is the object of this article to describe the developments which have taken place since then.
