In this paper, a series of Ce<sub>x</sub>Zr<sub>1−x</sub>O<sub>2</sub> solid solution spheres were synthesized by exo- and endo-templating methods and tested for dimethyl carbonate (DMC) synthesis using direct conversion of CO<sub>2</sub>.
