Abstract

EC-specific P2Y<sub>2</sub>R deficiency reduces atherosclerotic burden and promotes plaque stability in ApoE<sup>-/-</sup> mice through impaired macrophage infiltration acting together with reduced matrix metalloproteinase-2 activity and increased smooth muscle cell migration.
