This work investigates the application of genetic algorithms to linearize power amplifiers with strong memory effects using digital pre-distortion. An algorithm is presented that adapts polynomial predistortion functions to minimize adjacent channel emissions. The paper describes the implementation of this algorithm and compares its performance with those achieved by conventional wideband feedback optimization techniques. Simulation results indicate nearly optimal performance in a limited number of iterations, suggesting that this technique can be employed as a low-cost solution to meet regulatory requirements.
