High resolution of previously unresolved peaks could be achieved without change in retention time. The detection limits for putrescine, cadaverine, spermidine and spermine were 5, 9, 17 and 25 ng, respectively. Those of N1-and N8-acetylspermidine and N1-acetylspermine were 7, 8 and 19 ng. Applications of this method to samples of seminal plasma and urine are given
