Abstract

Mixed copper nanocomposite, Cu/CuO–rGO is prepared through a novel one-step oxidation-reduction reaction between aqueous graphene oxide (GO) and copper(<sc>ii</sc>) chloride (CuCl₂) solutions at ambient temperature and pressure.
