Status on Neutron Dosimetry

Abstract

The objectives of neutron dosimetry are reviewed. The basis for and limitations of current dosimetric quantities are discussed, along with proposals that have been made to improve these quantities. Existing dosimetric techniques for neutron monitoring and personal neutron dosimetry are discussed in order to understand their capabilities and weaknesses. Many of these techniques are discussed in detail in subsequent papers in this volume.
