Two kinds of water-soluble fluorescent hyperbranched poly(amino esters) were first synthesized by a convenient one-pot approach <italic>via</italic> the A<sub>2</sub> + B<sub>3</sub> Michael addition reaction of trimethylolpropane triacrylate and aliphatic diamines.
