Abstract

Porous nitrogen-rich carbon derived from carbon self-repairing g-C<sub>3</sub>N<sub>4</sub> with improved conductivity and more active sites exhibited high capacitance and good cycling performance due to the oxygen-containing groups and the carbon atoms close to the nitrogen as confirmed by XPS.
