Abstract

In the first of a two-part series, Sample Prep Perspectives looks at restricted-access media and the chemistries of its many varieties. Using restricted-access media, chromatographers can analyze low molecular weight compounds in biological fluids by direct injection. Sample preparation and analysis times are reduced. In part II, guest columnists Boos and Rudolphi will demonstrate the usefulness of restricted-access media in HPLC columns and column switching experiments
