Abstract

Compared to 'pure' COPD patients, patients with ACOS exhibit lower cumulative smoking, suffer more from obesity and atopic diseases, and use more asthma treatments. Disease severity (dyspnea, QoL, exacerbations, comorbidities) and prognosis (mortality) are not different from 'pure' COPD patients.
