Sulfate‐reducing bacteria slow intestinal transit in a bismuth‐reversible fashion in mice

Abstract

Live SRB slow intestinal transit in a bismuth-reversible fashion in mice. Our results demonstrate that intestinal transit is slowed by SRB and this effect could be abolished by H₂ S-binding bismuth.
