Abstract A direct, silver‐mediated C−H phosphonylation reaction of ferrocenyl anilides and dialkyl phosphites was developed. This methodology can tolerate a variety of functional groups and is free of palladium and copper. Moreover, mechanistic studies have revealed that the reaction pathway is of a radical type.
