Inflammatory Biomarkers in Childhood Arterial Ischemic Stroke

Abstract

Among children with AIS, specific inflammatory biomarkers correlate with cause and-in the arteriopathy group-risk of stroke recurrence. Interventions targeting inflammation should be considered for pediatric secondary stroke prevention trials.
