The findings of this study inform the development of tailored interventions aimed at reducing the heavy emotional burdens placed on pregnant women and the stigma of bearing children with genetic conditions. Clear reciprocal communication and shared decision making should be promoted in the day-to-day practice of delivering health care for pregnant Korean women.
