Ground improvement by means of jet-grouting

Abstract

After a description of jet-grouting technology some typical examples are given of its applications to a number of civil engineering problems. The following aspects are examined: suitability for different types of ground; design criteria; monitoring during construction; recent technological developments; jet-grouting techniques in civil and environmental engineering works; some case histories.
