Abstract

The results show that hypoxia is present in this rabbit model of atherosclerosis and suggest that <sup>64</sup>Cu-ATSM PET/MR is a potentially promising method for the detection of hypoxic and potentially vulnerable atherosclerotic plaque in human subjects.
