Synthesis and characterization of multifunctional superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPION)/C₆₀ nanocomposites assembled by fullerene–amine click chemistry

Abstract

We used fullerene–amine click chemistry for the fabrication of SPION/C₆₀ nanocomposites that bring together the superparamagnetic character conferred by the SPION-core and the photochemical and antioxidant activities provided by the C₆₀.
