Abstract

SUMMARY Raised, solitary corneal masses in 4 dogs were limited to the superficial layers of the cornea and were treated successfully by keratectomy. Histologically, the masses were diagnosed as epithelial inclusion cysts of the cornea. The cause of the cyst formation was not determined but was suspected to be trauma.
