Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a fast-growing and lethal malignancy of the blood and bone marrow, with a 5-year mortality rate of 75%. etween disease onset and chemotherapy treatment, patients often experience adverse symptoms, such as bleeding and infection, which can lead to worse outcomes. 6] Therefore, the purpose of this study was to better understand the volume-outcome relationship in AML.
