This paper relates the broad lines of the evolution of the research program "Research in Education, Training and Practices. Circulation and Reproblematization of Knowledge" which took place from 1 999 to 2002. The dynamic of research relied on a series of changes from the notion of profit-sharing space to the notion of "hybrid forum". It has led to proposals aiming to build up poles of competence for research in education.
