Reduced hypothalamic gray matter in narcolepsy with cataplexy.

Abstract

VBM showed hypothalamic gray matter loss in narcolepsy with cataplexy. This suggest that functional abnormalities of hypocretin neurons in narcolepsy are associated with structural changes of hypothalamus.
