Notes: A Simple Algorithm for Moment-Based Recovery of Weibull Distribution Parameters

Abstract

Abstract A solution technique to solve for the parameters of a three-parameter Weibull distribution is presented. The specific application of interest concerns the use of the Weibull in yield modeling. Two alternative formulations are discussed, and a numerical example is presented.
