[Hyperuricaemia in males with obstructive sleep apnoea (osa)].

Abstract

Hyperuricaemia is frequent in males with OSA. Elevated UA levels are related to extreme obesity, overnight desaturation and higher prevalence of systemic hypertension, coronary artery disease, diabetes and COPD.
