Abstract

Abstract An improved colorimetric enzymatic assay of ceruloplasmin is described in detail. The conditions of the test provide an optimal combination of technical simplicity with precision and reliability of results. The values obtained compare favorably with those obtained by independent methods. Possible application of ceruloplasmin determination as a clinical screening test is discussed.
