Our findings suggest that the incidence of bone and joint tuberculosis has increased in Paris in 1993 and 1994. Two populations are especially susceptible: the elderly and/or immunodepressed French population and immigrants coming from endemic zones. The role or HIV infection was minimal in this predominantly rheumatology series.
