Flow velocities in small sewers.

Abstract

This research has been undertaken for the purpose of finding out more about the hydraulic condition of small sewers, the effects of certain variables on flow velocities, and the mathematical representation of velocity as a function of major variables. Theoretical considerations and math ematical relationships are discussed first, the results of hydraulic tests in 95 sewers are presented, and the fac tors influencing the hydraulic coeffi cients are discussed.
