SUMMARY Na-hyaluronate (Healon) has been successfully used for reposition of high bullous retinal detachment in 13 cases. Healon was injected into the vitreous cavity after drainage of the subretinal fluid at the beginning of the operation. This technique highly facilitated treatment of the retinal tears. Injection through the Ocutome infusion cannula offers several advantages compared to an ordinary cannula.
