The wash fas tn ess of finished collo n fabric can be improvcd by us in g KVSI (Dimcthylol di hydroxyethylene urca based in-buill catalyst) as cross-linking agenl. The efTcct of anti -bac tcrial finish o n othe r fun c ti o nal fabric properties has a lso been st udi ed and it is obscrved that I % c love o il + KVSI treatment g ives the optimum results.
