Serum adiponectin levels in different types of non alcoholic liver disease. Correlation with steatosis, necroinflammation and fibrosis.

Abstract

Patients with established NASH have lower serum adiponectin levels than NAFLD patients with normal or abnormal liver enzymes. Adiponectin was not associated with the severity of hepatic fibrosis.
