SPINAL CORD COMPRESSION BY EXTRADURAL FAT AFTER RENAL TRANSPLANTATION

Abstract

A case of extradural spinal cord compression due to excessive deposition of extradural fat after renal transplantation is reported. A thorough search of the literature failed to reveal a similar case, either as a cause of spinal cord compression or as a complication of prolonged corticosteroid therapy.
