Abstract

Eight patients with histologically proven severe acute rejection changes in cadaveric renal allografts were treated with a continuous Intravenous dosage of heparin. The renal blood flow measured daily by 121I-labelled hippuran clearance technique improved significantly in all eight cases during heparin infusion, and fell again after the heparin was stopped.
