VIRAEMIA IN INFLUENZA: A REPORT OF TWO CASES

Abstract

Influenza A2/Hong Kong virus was Isolated from the blood of two patients suffering from primary Influenza virus pneumonitis. One patient died, and the virus was recovered from multiple sites at post mortem. The occurrence and importance of viræmia in influenza are discussed.
