Gastrin in Human DiseaseHypergastrinemia without Gastric HypersecretionPernicious anemia; atrophic gastritis. Serum gastrin concentrations are increased in patients with atrophic gastritis. The increase is especially marked in gastritis that spares the antrum and is associated with circulating parietal-cell antibodies.
